OHMX Engineering Pvt Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Coordinator Estimation & Billing to manage electrical project activities, estimation, procurement, labour records, billing and payment follow-up. The role requires coordinating between management, site teams, suppliers and clients from the Chennai area.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in electrical contracting or project coordination, with strong MS Excel skills and the ability to read drawings and BOQs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical contracting or project coordination.
• Experience in electrical estimation, quotation and billing.
• Knowledge of electrical materials and installation works.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and BOQs.
• Proficient in MS Excel and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical project activities and monitor progress.
• Prepare electrical quotations, estimates and BOQs.
• Process and review quotations for client submission.
• Coordinate material orders and deliveries to site.
• Maintain labour attendance and overtime records.
• Track project expenses and prepare RA, running and final bills.
• Follow up on payments with clients.
• Maintain project records and documents in MS Excel.
• Coordinate with management, site teams, suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track electrical work progress from project sites and provide regular updates to management.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and monitor project activities.
• Prepare electrical quotations, estimates and BOQs.
• Review and forward quotations to management for approval before submission to clients.
• Prepare material requirements and coordinate material orders and delivery to site.
• Maintain daily labour attendance and overtime records.
• Track and maintain project-wise expenses.
• Prepare RA bills, running bills and final bills.
• Coordinate with clients for bill submission and required clarifications.
• Follow up with clients for pending payments and outstanding amounts.
• Maintain project records, quotations, bills, expenses and other documents using MS Excel.
• Coordinate between management, site team, suppliers and clients.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in electrical contracting/project coordination.
• Experience in electrical estimation, quotation and billing.
• Knowledge of electrical materials and installation works.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings and BOQs.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Should be willing to coordinate with project sites when required.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
