Evercrest Projects in India is seeking an Electrical Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates, take-offs, and tender documents for electrical projects. You will analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine material, labour, and equipment costs.

The role involves bidding support, cost optimization, and collaboration with design, procurement, and project teams, with 4–6 years of electrical estimation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in electrical estimation, tendering, or quantity surveying.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or MEP projects.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems including: power distribution, lighting systems, earthing and lightning protection, ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Data & Telecom).
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender submissions, cost sheets, and bid proposals.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams.
• Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.
• Identify project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
• Support project handover by providing budget and estimation details.
