Position: Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer

Location: Vapi/Surat, Gujarat

Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field

Qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for electrical control panels and projects.
• Design and develop HT/LT electrical panels as per project requirements.
• Select and size electrical components, including switchgear, relays, transformers, fuses, contactors, MCCBs, and other control components.
• Break down projects into individual components and accurately estimate material, labour, equipment, overhead, and other associated costs.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.
• Support electrical design, documentation, and estimation activities.

Required Skills

• Sound knowledge of HT/LT electrical panels and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical component selection and sizing.
• Proficiency in electrical estimation and design software.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and preparation of electrical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Software Competency

• InstaQuote or similar electrical estimation software.
• AutoCAD 2D.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of electrical design and estimation tools will be an added advantage.
