Job summary

Devta Electricals is seeking a Project Engineer to manage electrical projects and ensure timely delivery. The role includes site execution, coordination with stakeholders, measurement certification, and billing support to enable smooth project delivery.

The candidate will work under the Project Development department, with a 6-month probation and a full-time employment arrangement. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or diploma with understanding of electrical installations.
• Ability to read drawings and BOQs and supervise site work.
• Experience in measurement, billing, and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise electrical projects from initiation to completion.
• Study project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, wiremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and certify measurement sheets and bills for approved work.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and monitor progress and costs.
• Maintain project documentation and support testing, commissioning, and handover.

Job Summary

Devta Electricals is seeking a Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical projects efficiently. The role involves site execution, coordination with stakeholders, measurement certification, and billing support to ensure smooth project delivery and timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise electrical projects from initiation to completion
• Study project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with site supervisors, wiremen, technicians, and subcontractors
• Conduct joint measurements at site with customers and end-use clients
• Prepare, verify, and certify measurement sheets as per executed work
• Generate daily and weekly bills based on approved measurements
• Coordinate with clients for measurement approval and billing confirmation
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and costs
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for technical clarifications
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems
• Resolve site-related technical and execution issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and site execution
• Experience in measurement, billing, and client coordination
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and BOQs
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and project documentation

Preferred Skills

• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical projects
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety standards
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
