Job summary

Avid Organics is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer for our chemical plant in Gujarat. The role requires 6-8 years of experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries, focusing on electrical systems, instrumentation, and plant utilities.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment, instruments, and control systems, while ensuring GMP compliance and safety standards. Collaboration with Production, Engineering, and QA teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical/Electrical & Instrumentation engineering (B.E./B.Tech or Diploma).
• Experience with PLC/SCADA/DCS, instrumentation, calibration, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of GMP documentation and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, instruments, and plant utilities.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of motors, panels, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
• Perform calibration of instruments and maintain calibration records.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, statutory, and electrical standards.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and QA to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain maintenance logs, SOPs, and documentation.
