Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Bengaluru is seeking an Engineering Executive to oversee operation and maintenance of electrical systems, read SLDs, and implement energy saving plans. You will work in shifts, coordinate with vendors, and maintain dashboards while ensuring safety and SOP adherence.

Ideal candidates have ITI or Diploma with relevant facility management experience, strong English, and teamwork skills for a large on-site operation in India's tech hub.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in facility management with ITI 6-7 years or diploma with 5 years' experience.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills; local language preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office and email communications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical equipment including transformers, UPS, DG, panels, and lifts.
• Read and decipher electrical drawings; prepare SLDs.
• Ensure SOP-compliant operations with zero deviations.
• Maintain safety with EHS knowledge; use PPE and LOTO.
• Implement energy saving plans and monitor energy usage.
• Prepare specifications for purchases and log maintenance dashboards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• a. Ensuring operation and maintenance of all electrical equipment (Transformers, UPS, DG, Electrical panel, lifts)
• b. Ability to read and decipher electrical & control drawing & to prepare SLDs
• c. Operations of equipment in line with SOP without any deviations
• d. Standard knowledge of EHS is required & safety rules are to be followed as per the work condition. Detailed training on safety will be provided. Should have knowledge of electrical safety, use of PPE and LOTO
• e. Mandatory to have sound technical knowledge of electrical technology and circuits
• f. Implementing improvements in electrical systems, facilities, equipment and processes
• g. Ensuring that operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications .
• h. Knowledge in incident management is required and to work out RCA of equipment failure & also to have knowledge of restoration faults.
• i. Maintain data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and dashboards.
• j. Implement energy saving plan as per targets shared by the clients
• k. Support in preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• l. Participation and conducting training in-house training.
• m. Preventive maintenance knowledge is required to maintain all related equipment, logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all installations. Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns
• n. Work towards the 'ZERO' down downtime practices to ensure the delivery of seamless service to client.
• o. Understanding of BMS System, monitoring and response support to be done. Ability to understand insights from BMS data and apply the same for equipment operations/repairs.
• p. Follow laid down escalation procedure on incidents or abnormalities
• q. Responsible to handle the shifts independently in his responsible area
• r. Working with multiple teams in rotational shifts.
• s. Maintain high ethical standards & discipline and ability to work without supervision
• t. To achieve goals set by self & & manager

Rounds & Readings

• Daily operational check for Indoor HT Panel & DGs
• Log Indoor HT Panel (Enercon Energy Meter) reading.
• Daily operational check for Main LT panel & Readings
• Dailly operational check for 110V battery charger
• Dailly operational check for RTCC 1
• Dailly operational check for Transformers& Readings (including cleanliness of the area and Operation of OLTC). Log the Oil Temperature, Winding Temperature, and Load details
• Complaints Calls- lightings & power complaint
• Log readings for UPS
• All Lab loads should be taken as per the list
• Dailly checks for the HSD system
• A check for all lifts n the lift machine room
• Switch ON/OFF all the Street lights, Terrace Lights, canopy & tuck shop lights.
• Dailly Operational check from kitchen equipment's
• daily checks for the LSS system
• Daily checks for the Gas leak detection system
• Monitoring all water tanks levels

Employee Key Competencies Experience required for the role is At least 3 years in facility management with ITI qualification of 6 -7 Years. Or Diploma with experience of 5 years Candidate preferred with industrial experience with a minimum of 2 years Good English communication & interpersonal skills along with local language preferred Good knowledge of MS office & mail communication Team player & quick learner attitude Customer service focus Committed execution capability and should have sound knowledge in handling vendors Team player and ability to take up additional work as required
