Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Technical Manager - Electrical to own the complete electrical utilities for 18 Commercial Towers in Cyber City. You will ensure 100% uptime with safety, compliance and cost optimization, coordinating with DHBVN and OEMs.

You will lead a team of engineers, manage DG operations across multiple sites, and implement predictive maintenance through IoT and SCADA/BMS systems for reliable power delivery.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical, Electrical Supervisor License, 12+ years' experience in Commercial/ IT Park.
• Must have handled >15 DG Synchronization projects.
• Location: Haryana, Gurugram region.

Responsibilities

• HT/LT Power distribution for 33KV/11KV systems, transformers and panels.
• DG/ATS operations for 25+ DG sets with 750KVA–2000KVA ratings.
• BMS, PLC & automation oversight including PLC ladder logic and SCADA interfaces.
• Ensure NBC 2016/IE rules compliance, safety audits and earth testing.
• Lead a team of shift engineers and DG operators; manage OEM AMC contracts.

Job Description - Technical Manager - Electrical

*Role Purpose:* To take complete ownership of entire Electrical Utilities & Distribution for 18 Commercial Towers in Cyber City. Ensure 100% uptime of power with safety, compliance and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. HT/LT Power Distribution:
  • Overall responsibility of 33KV/11KV HT system, Transformers, HT/LT Panels, Bus Ducts, ACB/VCB
  • Daily load monitoring, Power factor management, Capacitor panels for PF >0.99
  • Coordination with DHBVN for HT supply, Load sanction, ABT meter
• 2. DG & ATS Operations:
  • 25+ DG Sets
  • 750KVA to 2000KVA across 18 buildings
  • Auto/Manual Synchronization of DGs for common area load during DHBVN shutdown
  • ATS, AMF panel health, load sharing, paralleling logic in PLC
  • Fuel management, Load test, and DG running cost optimization
• 3. BMS, PLC & Automation:
  • SCADA/BMS monitoring for DG, Transformer, Pumps, Capacitor
  • PLC logic checking for ATS, Synchronizing panel, Load shedding sequence
  • Implement IoT based predictive maintenance
• 4. Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance to NBC 2016, IE Rules, CEA, Electrical License
  • HT/LT PM schedule, Thermography, Insulation testing, Earth pit testing
  • Safety audits, Lock Out Tag Out, Arc flash PPE
• 5. Team & Cost Management:
  • Lead team of Shift Engineers, Electricians, DG Operators
  • AMC management of OEMs - Siemens, ABB, Cummins, Kirloskar
  • Energy cost reduction - Peak load cutting, Power factor improvement, Diesel saving

**5. Energy & Cost Saving** | Maintain PF >0.99 to avoid penalty. Diesel consumption reduction 5% YoY. Peak demand management
**6. Breakdown Response** | TAT <15 mins for critical breakdown. Root Cause Analysis within 24 hrs
**7. Team Capability** | Monthly training for 80+ staff. 100% skill matrix completion. Zero manpower attrition >15%
**8. Documentation** | Digital logbooks, Load trend report daily, Energy report weekly for Management

Qualification Required

B.E Electrical, Electrical Supervisor License, 12+ Years exp in Commercial/ IT Park. Must have handled >15 DG Synchronization project.[Haryana]
