Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) invites applications for the Technical Executive role to be based on-site in Bengaluru. You will support the Sr.

Engineer in managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installations within the facility, maintain the critical spares list, and oversee preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of sudden equipment failures. You will also maintain logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all M&E installations, manage downtime, coordinate ad-hoc M&E setups

Qualifications

• Experience in managing mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations in facilities.
• Ability to generate and review service maintenance reports.
• Experience with inventory and spares procurement for MEP equipment.
• Ability to prepare downtime/breakdown incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Engineer in managing MEP installations and facility maintenance.
• Maintain critical spares list per manufacturer recommendations.
• Implement preventive maintenance to reduce failures of critical equipment.
• Review maintenance practices of MEP contractors to ensure quality.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for M&E installations.
• Manage downtime and breakdowns, coordinating remedies.
• Arrange ad-hoc M&E setups as per client requirements.
• Ensure contractors follow house rules and minimize client disruption.
• Handle shifts independently on engineering matters.
• Conduct daily facility walk-throughs.
• Meet or exceed best practice in service delivery via contracts.
• Ensure adherence to applicable policies and deadlines.
• Effectively manage the maintenance team.

Job Description – Technical Executive

What this job involves

• Support the Sr. Engineer in managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations & all Civil maintenance within the facility
• Responsible for maintaining the critical spares list for all MEP equipment installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations
• Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment
• Assist the Sr. Engineer to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations.
• Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns
• Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time.
• Ensure the contractors always follow the house rules and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client
• Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters
• Daily Walk around of the Facility
• Performance Objectives: Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts
• Establishment and adherence to policies & procedures, compliance deadlines for each of the tasks as advised by the Duty Sr. Engineer.
• Effective management of the team

Key Skills

• Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Sr. Engineer.
• Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipment
• Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables
• Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports
