As an Electrical Engineer Level II
You will provide electrical engineering services to Worley, its customers, and may provide technical support within the electrical team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Perform electrical engineering services such as: single line diagram, metering & protection diagrams, design basis, specifications, datasheets, electrical load list, sizing calculations of all electrical equipment, lighting calculations using vendor software, procurement support by developing inquiry requisitions, datasheets, technical bid evaluation, vendor drawing reviews, substation design, power, lighting, cable routing and earthing layouts, cable schedules, and all bulk MTOs.
- Competent use of electrical engineering ETAP/SPEL software is preferable. Power system studies on load flow, short circuit, motor starting, harmonic analysis, arc flash in ETAP is preferable.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Min 8+ years of experience in Oil and Gas, Refinery, LNG, Petrochemical Industry with a reputed Consultant EPC/EPCM company is essential.
- Experience in generating key single line diagrams and detailed single line diagrams, metering & protection diagrams, design basis, specifications, datasheets, electrical load list, sizing calculation of all electrical equipment.
- Experience in electrical calculations such as equipment sizing, cable sizing, lighting calculations.
- Hands‑on experience of power system studies using ETAP/SKM and experience in SPEL is preferable.
- Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Hands‑on experience in handling layout engineering such as power cable tray routing, earthing, lighting layouts, substation equipment layouts, etc.
- Hands‑on experience in electrical equipment selection for the hazardous area and preparation of hazardous area layouts.
- Procurement support by developing material requisitions (MR), technical query (TQ), technical bid evaluation (TBE), vendor document & drawing reviews (VDRN), etc.
- Experience in design of special packages such as electrical heat tracing design, lightning protection system design and develop layouts.
- Must have working experience with IEC, NEC, ANSI/IEEE, ANZ Electrical standards as minimum.
- Must have working experience with leading clients such as ADNOC, NOC, Qatar Energy, Qatargas, Saudi Aramco, SHELL, Chevron, etc.
- Able to check engineering and design deliverables independently and prepare work‑hour estimate.
- Guide, review for the development of 3D modelling activities (30%, 60% & 90% design).
- Check compliance with quality assurance, safety and environment goals.
- Quality Assurance – responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the quality assurance system relevant to the project.
- Safety – responsible for personal safety and safe working practices for the project.
- Understand and follow OH&S procedures and guidelines.
- Liaison with other engineering disciplines on technical issues and provide solutions.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, LNG, petrochemical industry projects.
- A recognized Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electrical Engineering / Power System Engineering from reputed universities or equivalent institutions.
