Job summary

Sugna Sponge & Power Private Limited invites an Electrical Engineer for the CPP Project in Tadipatri, Anantapur, to execute electrical installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable and timely completion of all electrical works. The role requires 5-8 years of experience, BE/BTech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and familiarity with HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, and MCC/PCC panels.

AutoCAD and SAP/ERP are preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience in steel/captive power plant or thermal power plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of HT/LT systems, MCCs, PCCs, transformers and motors.
• Review electrical drawings, SLDs and cable schedules.
• Coordinate cable laying, termination and testing.
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Support testing, commissioning and energization of electrical systems.

Job Purpose

To execute electrical installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance activities for the CPP Project, ensuring safe, reliable and timely completion of all electrical works.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of HT/LT systems, MCCs, PCCs, transformers and motors.
• Review electrical drawings, SLDs and cable schedules.
• Coordinate cable laying, termination and testing.
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Support testing, commissioning and energization of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, C&I and Civil departments.
• Monitor contractor work quality and progress.
• Prepare daily progress and maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, LOTO and PPE requirements.
• Support project completion within schedule and budget.
