Job summary

Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering leader for power plant projects in Chennai. The role requires extensive experience in FEED and detail engineering, as well as leadership of large multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.

You will review technical specifications, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and manage manpower planning, schedules, and vendor data to drive quality and efficiency in line with international codes and

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 15 years of relevant experience in POWER PLANT projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Leader in Power Projects.
• Strong people management and leadership skills with focus on team coordination, talent development and performance optimization.
• Experience in manpower and manhour estimation, resource allocation.
• Strong knowledge of generation technologies and generator ancillary systems and their integration into the electrical system of the plant.
• Experience in FEED and Detail Engineering.
• Experience in the design of generator circuit breakers and isolated phase busducts.
• Capable to review and develop technical specifications, data sheets, RFQ/RFPs and technical bid evaluation of electrical equipment and materials, mainly related with Power plant projects.
• Strong skills in single line drawings, schematics and control & protection systems.
• Good knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, IP, ISO.
• Capable to provide support on technical aspects for the proper development of complex Power Plant projects.
• Experience in PMT/PMC is desirable.

Minimum 5 years of experience as Leader in Power Projects. The position requires strong people management and leadership skills, with a focus on team coordination, talent development, and performance optimization. Experience in manpower and manhour estimation, resource allocation.Strong knowledge of generation technologies and generator ancillary systems (excitation systems, starting systems, governors, generation protection, synchronization, etc.) and their integration into the electrical system of the plant. Having good experience in FEED and Detail Engineering. Experience in the design of generator circuit breakers and isolated phase busductsCapable to review and develop technical specifications, data sheets, RFQ/RFPs and technical bid evaluation of electrical equipment and materials, mainly related with Power plant projects.
