Job summary

SOM Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for its Head Office in Gurugram, Haryana. The ideal candidate will oversee electrical works across construction and infrastructure projects and provide technical and project coordination support.

Requirements include a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering and 8–12 years of relevant experience with mandatory government project exposure. Willingness to work from Gurugram Head Office is essential.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience, preferably around 10 years.
• Government project experience is mandatory.
• Experience in CPWD, PWD, MES, PSU, Railways, Airports, Defence or other government infra projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction, estimation, BOQ, billing and project coordination.
• Good MS Office and technical documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work from the Gurugram Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, estimates, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate with project sites, clients, consultants, government departments and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site electrical teams.
• Review electrical measurements, RA bills, contractor/subcontractor bills and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparation and review of BOQs, estimates and tender documents.
• Review electrical material requirements and coordinate with procurement teams.
• Monitor project progress, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare MIS, progress reports, technical reports and project correspondence.
• Coordinate with project teams for resolution of technical and execution-related issues.
• Attend client/consultant meetings and provide necessary technical support from Head Office.
