Job summary

Khatib & Alami International is seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical Engineering in Bangalore. You will participate in design activities for non-complex projects, creating concept through tender documents and coordinating with project teams to meet client and authority requirements.

The role requires staying current with Gulf codes and international standards, and involves client-facing duties, space planning, and coordination with mechanical, structural, and other services.

Qualifications

• 12-18 years of electrical design experience.
• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electrical & Electronics / Power systems.
• Exposure to high rise projects and consultancy environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities for non-complex projects and coordinate with project teams.
• Develop concept, schematic, and detailed designs and tender documents.
• Oversee work progress and provide solutions to designers, architects, and structural engineers.
• Interface with clients and ensure design compliance with international standards.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer participates in design activities for non-complex design projects. He closely works with project teams on the development of concept designs, schematic designs, detailed designs and tender documents which accommodate the requirements of the client, local authorities, international standards and codes of practice and the requirements of other disciplines. He shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the electrical design field and represent the firm and share his expertise and knowledge with other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Should be able to handle multi high rise buildings independently and lead a team of 5-6 engineers.
• Sound knowledge of Gulf codes DEWA/SEWA/FEWA/ADDC/KSA is must. Also with International standards IEC /BS
• Should have experience in Client facing
• Revit, Dialux Evo, ETAP system studies will be an added advantage
• Hospital, Hospitality, Residential and Commercial experience is must
• Well experienced in Space planning, Coordinating with other services Mechanical, Structural ,Arch ,Infra
• Consultancy background is must
• Report preparation, Feasibility study, Specifications
• Good at Value Engineering excercises
• Experience in work load distribution
• Good well presentation skills
• Should have the ability to oversee the work progress provide solutions to be designers , Architects, Structural engineers
