Job summary

Harita Techserv in Bengaluru is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in LV control panel design and switchgear component selection. You will design motor starters, route cables, and ensure compliance with IEC/UL standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, E-Plan, and Creo is required, with exposure to testing and commissioning.

You will engage with global clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust electrical solutions and support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in LV control panel design and development.
• Experience in switchgear component selection (MPCB, Circuit Breaker, contactor, relays).
• Exposure to motor starters design and development.
• Strong grasp of basic electrical engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of electrical design tools: AutoCAD, E-Plan, Creo.
• Testing and commissioning of projects (if any).
• Cable sizing, routing, and wiring harness development.
• Knowledge of IEC or UL standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience communicating with global clients is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LV control panels for switchgear assemblies.
• Select and specify components (MPCB, breakers, contactors, relays).
• Design motor starters and related electrical subsystems.
• Ensure conformance to IEC/UL standards and project specs.
• Create cable routing, sizing, and wiring harness documentation.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities as needed.
• Communicate with global clients and teams to ensure project success.
