Job summary

John Finlay India Pvt. Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on MV panel design, creating drawings, schematics, and BOMs to meet project specifications.

You will work with production, procurement, and testing teams, ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards, and liaise with clients and vendors for design clarifications. This position is based in Pune and requires hands-on MV panel expertise.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 35 years of relevant experience in MV Panel design.
• Strong knowledge of MV Panel components, switchgear, and control circuits.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical) or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of substations is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical standards (IS/IEC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and safety norms

• Liaise with clients/vendors for design clarifications and approvals

Required Skills & Qualifications:
