Responsibilities

• Bill Preparation: Generate RA, interim, and final client bills based on BOQ and site progress.
• Site Measurement & Verification: Cross-check measurements with site engineers to ensure billed quantities match work completed.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Verify, process, and certify invoices from contractors and vendors.
• Rate Analysis & Cost Control: Conduct rate analyses for non-BOQ items and monitor expenditures to avoid overruns.
• Material Reconciliation: Prepare monthly statements to track consumption vs. theoretical usage.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain MBs, billing registers, and MIS reports for management.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

• Bill Preparation: Generate Running Account (RA) bills, interim bills, and final client bills based on the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and site progress.
• Site Measurement & Verification: Take and cross-check measurements with site engineers to confirm that billed quantities match actual work completed on-site.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Verify, process, and certify invoices and bills submitted by contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Rate Analysis & Cost Control: Conduct rate analysis for non-BOQ or extra items, estimate costs, and monitor expenditures to prevent budget overruns.
• Material Reconciliation: Prepare monthly reconciliation statements to track consumption against theoretical usage.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain measurement books (MB), billing registers, and generate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for management.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related ABET-accredited discipline)
• Experience: 2 to 6+ years of practical experience in electrical design or industrial manufacturing.
• Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation software (such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB, or EPLAN).
• Deep knowledge of national and international electrical standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, UL).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and circuit analysis skills.
