Job summary

Oval Projects Engineering Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical installation, supervision and commissioning for high-rise and commercial projects. You will manage LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, and complex distribution systems while coordinating with civil, mechanical and HVAC teams to ensure quality and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation, execution, supervision and commissioning for high-rise buildings, malls and commercial construction.
• Knowledge of electrical design, drawings and installation per approved plans and specifications.
• Supervision of LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, bus ducts and distribution systems.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, panels, cables and backup power systems.
• Knowledge of earthing and electrical safety practices.
• Coordination with civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fire-safety teams.
• Preparation of BOQ, material requisitions and daily progress reports.
• Inspection of installations to ensure compliance with drawings and codes.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical installation, testing, commissioning and handover for projects.
• Supervise LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, bus ducts and distribution systems on-site.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fire-protection teams to avoid clashes.
• Review drawings, approve installation work and ensure compliance with specs and codes.
• Prepare BOQ, requisitions and daily progress reports for management.
• Ensure electrical safety, permit-to-work procedures and site safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and technicians to ensure timely completion and quality.
• Inspect installations and maintain as-built documentation and handover records.

• Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical installation, execution, supervision, and commissioning for high-rise buildings, shopping malls, and commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of electrical design, drawings, and installation as per approved plans and specifications.
• Supervision of electrical works, including LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, bus ducts, and electrical distribution systems.
• Installation and testing of cable trays, cable laying, conduits, wiring, and power distribution systems.
• Execution of lighting, power sockets, emergency lighting, and common-area electrical systems.
• Coordination of electrical works for lifts, escalators, HVAC systems, pumps, and other building services.
• Installation and coordination of fire alarm systems, firefighting interfaces, CCTV, access control, and other ELV systems.
• Knowledge of earthing, lightning protection, and electrical safety systems.
• Supervision of electrical contractors, technicians, and site manpower to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Coordination with civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to avoid site clashes.
• Inspection of electrical installations and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes.
• Preparation and review of BOQ, material requisitions, quantity measurements, and daily progress reports.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, panels, cables, lighting systems, and backup power systems.
