Job summary

CADD Emirates in Gurugram is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop and review electrical distribution systems for building services. You will prepare layouts, SLDs, DB schedules, and ELV schemes while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical Design / Building Services MEP.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, lighting, load calculations, cable sizing, and ELV systems.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and DIALux.
• Knowledge of Amtech is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Revit MEP and Navisworks is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of NEC, CPWD, NBC, and international electrical design codes.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution systems, LV panels, lighting, small power, and cable management systems.
• Perform electrical load estimation, cable sizing, voltage-drop, and short-circuit calculations.
• Prepare electrical layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), DB schedules, and technical specifications.
• Perform indoor and outdoor lighting design and lux-level calculations.
• Design ELV systems, including Fire Alarm, PAVA, CCTV, and structured cabling.
• Prepare BOQs, quantity estimates, and technical documentation for RFPs.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other MEP teams.
• Review electrical drawings, technical submissions, and vendor documents.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, CPWD, NBC, IEC, and other relevant standards.
