Job summary

Talent Takers Hr Solutions is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Chakan, Pune to lead electrical design activities for material handling systems. You will prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs, and design control panels including MCC and VFD panels.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience with PLC systems, and collaboration with Mechanical, Automation, Project, and Production teams to ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design.
• Experience in material handling, conveyors, industrial automation or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PLC, VFDs, sensors, motors and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical design activities for material handling systems such as conveyors, sorters, elevators, and related automation equipment.
• Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs.
• Design and validate control panels, power distribution systems, MCCs, and VFD panels.
• Work on PLC-based control systems, preferably Siemens or Allen Bradley.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Automation, Project, and Production teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and customer specifications.
• Provide technical support during site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Guide and mentor junior electrical design engineers.
• Handle technical discussions with clients and resolve electrical design-related queries.
• Independently manage electrical design activities for assigned projects and ensure timely completion.
