Job summary

Alten in India is seeking a Design Engineer for Application Engineering (PG) to handle electrical design activities, create drawings, and prepare technical documentation in line with project scope.

You will release BoM and drawings on the PLM system, support proto trials, and coordinate with the project manager to ensure design completeness. B.E or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3 years' experience expected.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical calculations.
• Design of control logic for electrical systems.
• Experience with control panels designed in EPLAN.
• Knowledge of switchgear and switchgear selections.
• Knowledge of timers and relays used in typical design.
• Basic knowledge of control wiring schemes.
• Knowledge of electrical symbols used in drawings.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope from Project manager and prepare electrical drawings based on the design scope.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Release BoM and drawings on PLM system.
• Support proto trials and provide design feedback.
