Job summary

Aerodry Plastics Automation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Leader to oversee the electrical design and development for our growing business in India. You will drive control panel projects, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with standards while supporting operations and customers.

The role requires hands-on expertise with SLDs, control schematics, PLCs, switchgear, instrumentation, and microprocessor-based systems, plus strong leadership and project coordination skills

Job Description:-

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient professional to lead all functions of the Electrical Engineering Department, provide critical support to operations, and oversee the electrical design and development activities supporting the companys growing business.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, electrical equipment, PLCs, microprocessor‑based control systems, electrical switchgear, instrumentation, and control systems. The candidate should also demonstrate strong leadership, problem‑solving, and project coordination skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of electrical control panels for standard products and projects.
• Perform and review electrical calculations, equipment specifications, and technical datasheets.
• Provide technical and application support to internal teams and external customers.
• Oversee electrical wiring activities, control panel assembly, inspection, and testing.
• Drive research and development initiatives to evaluate and implement new technologies.
• Act as the single point of contact for all electrical engineering-related queries.
• Ensure proper collection, review, and clarification of project scope and technical requirements before project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, design specifications, engineering documents, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution and delivery of electrical engineering activities.

Key Deliverables

• Execution of electrical engineering and design activities in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Preparation and review of system and equipment calculations, electrical datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Preparation of engineering requisitions and electrical equipment lists.
• Development and maintenance of electrical design criteria, including review and correction of input data to ensure accurate and high‑quality engineering documentation.
• Preparation and review of electrical design drawings, Single Line Diagrams, control schematics, and other electrical engineering deliverables.
• Selection and specification of electrical components and bought‑out items, including controllers, sensors, motors, switchgear, and related equipment.
• Application of computer‑aided engineering, design, and analytical tools to support electrical design and development.
• Effective technical coordination, team leadership, and guidance to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion of engineering deliverables.
