Job summary

Tekskills invites a P&C Design Engineer to join its electrical design team in a hybrid role across Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune. You will assist with design aspects, prepare specifications, select equipment, and coordinate with protection/controls and civils designers.

Responsibilities include creating diagrams (SLDs, schematics), cable schedules, SCADA interfaces, and system studies (G5/ENA G99). You will support design risk assessments and ensure safety and CDM compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all electrical design aspects of a project in line with the project timescales
• Preparing technical specifications and selecting electrical equipment for the project
• Coordinating the electrical design and liaising with the Protection/Controls and Civils designers
• Preparing Electrical Diagrams such as (SLDs, AC/DC Schematics, Interlocking, Block and Multicore Diagrams)
• Preparing Cable Schedules and Calculations (HV, LV & DC cables)
• Managing the site communications design with the control’s designer, Including Multicore and SCADA design
• Assisting in the preparation of the system studies (P28/29, ENA G5/5,G99 Compliance)
• Liaising and providing technical support to the Design coordinator so the Client can be informed on the progress of the design
• Assisting with preparing PGMD for the clients G99 Applications.
• Preparing Design risk assessments ensuring that the design is safe and in line with the relevant Health and safety and CDM regulations.
