Job summary

Veevee Controls is seeking a Design Engineer (Diploma/BE in EEE) to lead electrical panel design projects. The role involves designing PCC/MCC/ LT control panels, performing load and relay setting calculations, and preparing SLDs, BOMs, and layout diagrams for manufacturing.

You will collaborate with production teams to ensure drawings and layouts meet client requirements and project timelines. Prior experience with AutoCAD and EPLAN-P8 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE (EEE) is required with relevant design experience.
• Experience in electrical control panel and LT control panel design.
• Knowledge of load calculations and relay settings for protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control and LT panels (PCC, MCC) as per customer specs.
• Prepare single line, control schematic, and BOM drawings.
• Coordinate with production for manufacturing and on-time delivery.
• Prepare as-built drawings and layout drawings (Electrical Layout, Earthing, Lighting).
• Review tender docs and ensure compliance with scope and schedules.
• Coordinate project activities and obtain design approvals.
