Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Good understanding of complex power calculation and estimation, including three‑phase power calculations.
• Design and review of electrical distribution systems for industrial, residential, and commercial building applications.
• Preparation/checking of single line diagrams with protection and metering requirements.
• Preparation/checking of detailed calculations for major electrical equipment such as transformers, DGs, capacitor banks, UPS, battery & battery chargers, neutral grounding resistors, etc.
• Preparation/checking of detailed design calculations for earthing, lighting, cable sizing, cable tray/trench sizing, fire alarm system, telephone system, public address system, lightning protection, electrical load list, cable schedule, etc.
• Vendor document review (electrical equipment).
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
• Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Etap, DIALux, etc.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as NEC, NBC, IS, IEC, UL.
