Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an electrical building services engineer with a focus on Revit modelling and BIM coordination to support our Global Delivery Services Centre.

You will work on projects spanning commercial, residential, and offices, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and delivering accurate drawings, schedules, and clash-free models.

The role emphasizes flexibility in working arrangements and opportunities to advance within a global engineering community.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical building services and Revit modelling.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems and building services.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with BIM-related platforms preferred (BIM360/ProjectWise).

Responsibilities

• Model building and drawings of building services electrical systems.

Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.

Key Deliverables:

• Model building and drawings of building services elements for electrical services like lighting power, earthing and lightning protection systems, schematics, schedules, etc.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• QA/QC procedures
• Attention to quality and technical correctness
• Smooth coordination with other mechanical, structural and architectural services
• Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time.

Candidate Specification

Professional Experience :

• Have Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical for building services (Revit modelling)

Essential Skills & Software :

• Be able to manipulate revit families creation, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters and similar revit functions
• Navis work generation and clash coordination
• Basic knowledge in dynamo
• Have good written & verbal communication skills
• Be able to work without the help of mark‑ups
• Exposure to platforms like BIM360 or project wise preferred

Qualifications :

• Have a diploma in electrical & electronics engineering.
