Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a BIM-enabled Electrical, ICT and ELV design professional to work in India. You will contribute to ICT, Security and ELV systems design for diverse building types, ensuring layout and schematic accuracy across drawings and models.

The role involves collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, BIM coordination, and adherence to international standards. Diploma or degree in Electrical/Instrumentation is preferred; experience in BIM360/ACC is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Min 4+ years in ICT, Security and ELV systems.
• Experience with BIM standards, QAQC, and clash coordination.
• Exposure to international markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and modelling of ICT, Security and ELV systems for buildings.
• Develop layout drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Coordinate IT & Telecom spatial requirements with stakeholders.
• Assist BIM activities using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Support coordination meetings and model health checks.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.

Design and Modelling of ICT, Security and ELV systems for all types of buildings from concept design through to detailed designandsubsequentdesign milestone stages.

Design solutions for technical issues in relation to areas of ICT, Security and ELV systems design like IP CCTV, Access Control, PAVA etc.

Sound understandingrelevantlocal and international designstandardsforICT, Security and ELV system design as per Standards TIA/EIA, BS, BICSI, TRA, SIRA, ADMCC & TDRA.

Development of layout drawings and schematic diagrams for ICT, Security, and ELV systems.

IT & Telecom Spatial requirements assessment and coordination inearly stageswith stakeholders.

Wi-Fisimulationsstudy & desktop surveyreportswith relevant simulation software.

CCTV FOVCoverages study and implementation with Local & International security standards.

Soundunderstanding of Calculation and optimizationefforts for ICT/Security & ELV systems

BIM:

Assistin developing 3D models for ELV systems usingRevit,AutoCAD, andNavisworks.

Participate inclash detectionreviews and support resolution efforts.

Follow internalBIM standardsand contribute to model health checks.

Attend coordination meetings and provide updates asrequired.

Sound knowledge of BIM Standards/LODs/QAQC procedures/Clash coordination etc.

Sound understanding of Automation toolsforimproving productivityand efficiency.

Candidate Specification

Professional Experience :

Good practical understandingand experience of Min 4+ years inICT, Security and ELV systems.

Essential Skills & Software :

ProficiencyinAutodesk Revit,AutoCAD, andNavisworks.

Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other disciplines.

Eagerness to grow technical and BIM skills under mentorship.

Good communication, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Exposure to BIM360/ACC, Dynamo, or MicroStationcertifications shall be additive advantage.

Working experience in internation regions like Middle east and other markets shall be plus
