Job summary

Paranjape Autocast in Satara is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to lead preventive maintenance programs for furnaces, conveyors, motors, pumps, and PLCs. The role focuses on planning and executing electrical maintenance tasks to ensure reliable plant operations.

You will drive root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) to cut breakdowns, manage spare parts, and ensure compliance with EHS and IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 4–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, furnaces, and pumps is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures including furnaces, conveyors, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
• Reduce breakdowns via RCA and FMEA analyses.
• Control spare parts inventory to optimize consumption and costs.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and IATF 16949 standards; follow customer manuals.
• Support new equipment installation, testing, and digitalization initiatives.
• Periodic calibration, inspection and testing of equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices.

Salary: 40,000- 45,000 CTC per month

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Use predictive tools (appearance, vibration analysis, overheating) to detect early failures.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures (Furnace, Conveyors, motors, pumps, compressors, PLCs)
• Reduction in breakdowns through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Control spare parts inventory and optimize consumption to reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) and regulatory standards, IATF 16949, Relevant customer manual requirements.
• Support for new equipment introduction, installation, test runs.
• Lead Continuous Improvement, Drive digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Periodically calibration / Inspection / Testing of equipments.
