Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced EHS professional to oversee environmental, health and safety compliance across the site in India. You will ensure adherence to statutory and ISO standards, manage audits, and drive CAPA initiatives.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, hazard identification, change management, and process safety oversight for existing and new products, along with budgeting and training to build site capability.

Qualifications

  • Post graduate or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with EHS standards (ISO, statutory norms).
  • Experience in risk assessment and CAPA processes.
  • Ability to lead audits and EHS training.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for EHS compliance as per statutory, ISO and internal standards.
  • Ensure legal compliance, timely filing of returns, licenses and liaison with statutory authorities.
  • Lead EHS audits (internal, external, regulatory & customer) and ensure effective CAPA implementation.
  • Drive risk assessment, hazard identification, deviation investigation and change management.
  • Oversee process safety management for existing and new products.
  • Plan and control EHS budget (CAPEX & OPEX) and monitor cost adherence.
  • Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, waste reduction, energy & water conservation initiatives.
  • Ensure EHS documentation, reporting and third-party compliance checks.
  • Lead people development, EHS training programs and capability building across the site.
