Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Pune is seeking an experienced EHS professional to ensure the implementation of Environment, Health & Safety management systems. Responsibilities include sustaining EHS practices, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring legal compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in EHS and relevant qualifications. This role is vital for enhancing the safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of work experience in a similar profile.
• Knowledge of ISO 14000 / 45001 certification requirements.
• Ability to develop training modules and conduct training sessions.
• Ability to develop training modules and impart training.

Responsibilities

• Sustain EHS practices and suggest improvements.
• Implement EHS legal compliance and training.
• Coordinate and follow-up on EHS committee actions.
• Day to day EHS activity, willing to do admin activity
• Development of overall safety culture within the organization.
• IMS (EMS & OHSAS) systems
• Increase ESH awareness, Trainings and development.
• Develop training modules and impart training’s.
• Training and implementation of procedure as per corporate guideline
• Impart training as per training calendar.
• Planning &Co-ordination Function
• Improve & implement EHS practices according to company’s policy, corporate requirements, Insurance Company’s recommendation, and External audit (Third party system, Customer audit, Consultant audit) recommendations.
• Plan, coordinate and follow up for actions (if required) decided within ESH committee meeting
• To ensure Environment, Health & Safety Management implementation
• Identification and evaluation of Environmental Aspect – Impact and Hazard-Risk
• EMP, SMP and Operational control implementation over identified significant environmental aspects and unaccepted Risks.
• To ensure as internal review / auditor member for QSHE Improvements
• To identify legal and other requirements vis-à-vis ensure its legal compliance
