The candidate will manage environmental controls, incident investigations, and emergency plans while promoting a culture of safety through toolbox talks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance & Monitoring
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor adherence to local, state, and national EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Maintain and update safety documentation and permits.
• Training & Awareness
• Organize and conduct safety induction and training programs for workers and staff.
• Promote awareness of EHS policies through toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
• Incident Management
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Support return-to-work programs and rehabilitation plans.
• Environmental Management
• Ensure proper waste disposal and pollution control measures.
• Monitor environmental impact and implement mitigation strategies.
• Emergency Preparedness
• Develop and implement emergency response plans.
• Conduct mock drills and evaluate readiness.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain records of inspections, audits, and training.
• Submit periodic EHS performance reports to management.
