Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in India seeks an EHS professional to implement safety initiatives, conduct site inspections, and coordinate safety audits.

You will work with Factory EHS In-charge, assist in risk assessments, training staff and contractors, and prepare timely EHS reports. Knowledge of GFR and risk management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Identify key safety risks in operations and perform risk assessments.
• Coordinate internal/external safety audits and inspections.
• Coordinate EHS programs with the factory and safety marshals.
• Lead safety training and inductions for staff and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GFR.
• Prepare timely EHS reports and statistics.

Job description

• To work with Factory EHS In-charge to implement safety initiatives
• To conduct regular site inspection & monitoring of various factory activities
• To coordinate internal / external safety audits / inspections
• To coordinate with EHS team and implement the EHS programs / initiatives in factory
• To coordinate with Contractors Safety Marshals to implement the safety programs
• To assist on timely preparation and analysis of compilation of safety reports/statistics
• Identify key safety risks in the operations and carry out risk assessments for the activities in factory
• Identify and Coordinate with different site departments for safety related compliances
• Carry out safety training and induction for staff/contractors
• Good knowledge of Safety related statutory regulations and GFR.
• Have adequate knowledge for Risk Management Techniques such as JSA/HIRA
• Have skills to carry out Accident Investigation, Safety Audits and Inspections.
• Have skills for preparing timely EHS reports.
• Skills for imparting training/inductions
