Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a dynamic and empathetic Education Counselor to join our Student Support & Admissions team. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for prospective students, providing them with accurate and compelling information about our educational programs. Your goal will be to guide students through the admissions process while ensuring a positive and supportive experience that aligns with our organizations mission to empower learning through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

• Provide detailed information about various courses, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and fee structures.

• Guide students through the complete enrollment process including form filling, documentation, and interview scheduling.

• Conduct career counseling sessions to help students identify the most suitable program based on their interests and career goals.

• Follow up with leads and maintain a robust student pipeline using CRM tools.

• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new students.

• Organize and participate in admission events, seminars, webinars, and outreach programs.

• Maintain updated knowledge of educational programs, market trends, and competitor offerings.

• Prepare reports on admissions, counseling outcomes, and student feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferred: Education, Psychology, or Management).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a student-first attitude.

• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and empathetically.

• Familiarity with CRM software, MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in student counseling, education advisory, or admissions.

• Experience in an EdTech company or educational institution is a strong advantage.

Working Hours:

• 6 Days a Week (Monday to Saturday)

• Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

• Occasional weekend or evening work during peak admission periods or events.
