Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a BIM Modeler to lead Revit-based modeling for fuel, gas, air, steam and medical gas piping systems. You will ensure clash-free delivery, coordinate across disciplines and develop parametric families while aligning with BEP and project standards.

Applicants should have 3–7 years of BIM Revit experience, proficiency in MEP tools, and willingness to work across various high-profile projects such as airports, hospitals and large IT campuses.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of BIM (Revit) experience on specialized systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Revit MEP project coordinates (Arch, Structural & MEP).
• Develop MEP services models per BEP document.
• Create families and templates as per material submittal.
• Produce sectional drawings in critical areas before modeling.
• Model coordinated services up to LOD 500.
• Generate Navisworks clash reports and resolutions.
• Create AutoCAD drawings for specialized services.
• Ensure deliverables are clash-free and presentable.

Role Summary

BIM Modeler for Fuel, Gas, Air, steam, medical gas piping system will be responsible for overall model delivery in Building Information Modeling platform viz., Revit of corresponding specialized systems. This position will include following multiple tasks but not limited to - receiving engineering inputs from Engineer-in-charge, understanding the pre-requisite system requirements, following schedules and standards while modeling, creation of parametric families of equipment or other accessories in BIM, development of model keeping Architect’s intent and making the model clash free from Architecture, Structure or other MEP elements, annotation, scheduling, content and sheet preparation, work sharing and final delivery of 3D model & 2D drawings presentable to end customers. The BIM Modeler is responsible for compliance with established BIM standards, project requirements, and timelines.

The candidate should have experience in building projects like Airports, Hospitals, Railways and Metros, Public spaces like Stadium, Malls, Hotels, Convention center, Offices/IT buildings etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of Revit MEP Project coordinates fixing (Arch, Structural & MEP Files).
• Responsible for Project preparation MEP service wised as per BEP Document.
• Responsible for families and templates preparation as per Material submittal and BEP Document.
• Responsible for creating sectional drawings in critical areas prior to starting BIM modeling.
• Responsible for the preparation of respective specialized services modeling.
• Preparation of coordinated BIM models to LOD 200 to 500 for respective specialized services.
• Good knowledge in Navis work to find clash detection among structural, Architectural and other MEP services.
• Responsible for preparation of Modules or Supports Modeling as per material submittal and service wise.
• Responsible for Navis clash free report preparation as per client format (NWC, NWF & NWD).
• Preparation of design drawing for respective specialized services in AutoCAD.
• Responsible for preparation of coordinated detailed BIM models up to LOD 500 and extraction of shop drawings from the BIM models for respective specialized services.
