Job summary

Prathamesh Consultants is seeking an EDM Machine Operator in the Pune area (Nighoje). The role requires 2-5 years of experience and offers up to 5 LPA CTC with a 12-hour shift and Sunday weekly off.

Candidates should have ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/ Machinist / Tool & Die, and hands-on EDM operation experience in a precision manufacturing environment. Canteen is available on a payable basis; stay in PCMC/Chakan preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/ diploma in mechanical related field preferred.
• Hands-on EDM machine operation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic inspection with Vernier, Micrometer is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate EDM machines as per production requirements.
• Set machine parameters, load/unload jobs and set tools/electrodes.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Inspect components using Vernier, Micrometer and other instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Maintain production, quality and machine records.
• Follow safety, 5S and quality standards.

EDM Machine Operator

Location: Nighoje, Pune

Experience: 2-5 Years

• Operate EDM machines as per production requirements.
• Perform machine setting, job loading/unloading and tool/electrode setting.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Inspect components using Vernier, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
• Maintain production, quality and machine records.
• Follow safety, 5S and quality standards.

Qualification: ITI / Diploma Mechanical / Machinist / Tool & Die preferred.

Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in EDM machine operation, preferably from a precision manufacturing / tool-room environment.

Candidate must be currently staying in PCMC/ Chakan area
