Job summary

Gram Tarang Employability Training Services in Bengaluru is seeking an EDM machinist to set up and operate the Ona QX6 EDM machine, fabricate parts, and ensure dimensions meet drawings specifications. You will work with tooling, prioritize production tasks, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an ITI Machinist with operating experience in a similar profile. Overtime compensation and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience in Diploma (Mechanical Engineering) or Four years of relevant experience in ITI Machinist.
• Passed out DTDM students are also eligible to apply.
• Must have operating experience in a similar profile.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all functions necessary for setup and operating the Ona QX6 EDM Machine/ Micro hole drilling EDM including all aspects of machine and work piece setup and finish product
• Diligently Operate the machine to fabricate parts & tooling
• Apply knowledge and experience to tooling situations
• Work independently and be able to prioritize tasks based on production needs
• Check work piece dimensions with reference to drawings specifications
• Troubleshoot and communicate tooling concerns to the management
• Maintain and promote a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
