Job summary

Kiya.ai is seeking a QA/Test Analyst to execute functional and integration tests for SAP ECP/EC Payroll across SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel cycles. You will validate US payroll processing, including gross-to-net calculations and tax computations, using BSI TaxFactory.

Responsibilities include EC-to-ECP data replication testing, payroll interfaces, and end-to-end year-end scenarios. collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Execute functional and integration test cases for SAP ECP/EC Payroll.
• Validate end-to-end US Payroll processing, including gross-to-net calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments.
• Test federal, state, and local US tax calculations and validate results using BSI TaxFactory.
• Execute scenarios for retro payroll, off-cycle payroll, supplemental payments, adjustments, and corrections.
• Perform EC-to-ECP integration testing, including employee/master data replication.
• Test payroll interfaces including ACH/NACHA bank files, GL postings, Time-to-Payroll interfaces, and third-party vendor integrations.
• Execute parallel payroll testing by comparing legacy payroll results against SAP ECP results.
• Analyze payroll results, logs, wage types, and pay-period information to identify discrepancies.
• Validate year-end payroll scenarios including W-2s.
• Prepare, review, and execute detailed payroll test scripts and test scenarios.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Log defects with replication details and supporting evidence.
• Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.
• Interact with SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors EC, integration, functional, technical, and business teams to resolve testing issues.
• Provide regular testing status, defect updates, risks, blockers, and execution metrics to the Test Lead/Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute functional and integration test cases for SAP ECP / EC Payroll across SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel testing cycles.
• Validate end-to-end US Payroll processing, including gross-to-net calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and net pay.
• Test federal, state, and local US tax calculations and validate results using BSI TaxFactory.
• Execute scenarios for retro payroll, off-cycle payroll, supplemental payments, adjustments, and corrections.
• Perform EC-to-ECP integration testing, including employee master data, organizational data, position, compensation, and payroll-relevant data replication.
• Test payroll interfaces including ACH/NACHA bank files, General Ledger postings, Time-to-Payroll interfaces, and third-party vendor integrations.
• Execute parallel payroll testing by comparing legacy payroll results against SAP ECP results and documenting variances.
• Analyze payroll results, payroll logs, wage types, employee data, and pay-period information to identify discrepancies.
• Validate year-end payroll scenarios, including W-2 and W-2c where applicable.
• Prepare, review, and execute detailed payroll test scripts and test scenarios.
• Identify test coverage gaps and provide inputs to test planning and execution.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Provide detailed defect information including employee population, pay period, wage types, expected vs. actual results, replication details, and supporting evidence.
• Perform defect retesting and regression testing following fixes.
• Work closely with SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors EC, integration, functional, technical, and business teams to resolve testing issues.
• Provide regular testing status, defect updates, risks, blockers, and execution metrics to the Test Lead/Project Manager.
