Job summary

Alignity Solutions is seeking a SAPECP/ECPayroll QA Analyst for a hybrid contract-to-hire engagement in Hyderabad, India. You will lead testing efforts across SIT, UAT and regression, focusing on US Payroll configurations and EC-to-ECP interfaces.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of total payroll domain experience (SAP HCM Payroll and/or SAP ECP Payroll), hands-on integration testing, and strong knowledge of payroll interfaces such as ACH/NACHA, GL postings, and W-2 processing.

Qualifications

• Total payroll domain experience (SAP HCM Payroll and/or SAP EC/ Payroll).
• US Payroll processing experience including W-2.
• 2+ years hands-on integration testing/SIT on SAP HCM or ECP programs.
• Direct experience testing payroll interfaces—bank files (ACH/NACHA), GL, time integration, third-party vendors.
• Strong SAP ECP payroll knowledge: wagetype/catalog, tax factory, garnishments, retro processing.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases and test scripts for SAP ECP/ECPayroll across SIT, parallel testing, UAT, and regression cycles.
• Run payroll test scenarios covering gross-to-net calculations, tax withholding, garnishments, off-cycle payroll, and retro processing.
• Execute EC-to-ECP integration testing—validate employee master data replication, compensation, org, and position data flows into payroll.
• Perform payroll interface testing—ACH/NACHA bank files, GL postings, time & attendance feeds, and third-party payroll vendor integrations.
• Log and track defects with full payroll context—wage types, pay periods, employee populations, and replication steps.
• Participate in test preparation—review test scripts, flag coverage gaps, and provide timely execution status to the test lead.
