Job summary

CIEL HR in Hyderabad seeks a Senior SAP Payroll expert to collaborate with vendors and support end-to-end payroll runs for JJ and DPS in the legacy system. You will translate country requirements into functional specs and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will provide SME guidance on system solutions, oversee vendor builds, develop test scenarios, and support data mining. Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and JJT are essential.

• 7-9 years or relevant experience in payroll
• Experience with SAP Payroll and time management
• Ability to translate requirements into user stories and specs

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendor to create new LEs and support E2E payroll runs for JJ and DPS in legacy system.
• Gather country business requirements and translate into functional requirements for Payroll vendor.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery and Vendor to ensure pay practices and compliance are in Blueprint.
• Provide subject matter expertise and present options to meet business requirements.
• Apply global standards in WD GL Bank integrations, mass uploads, user provisioning, compliance and audit.
• Oversee product build by payroll vendor and conformance to requirements.
• Develop test scenarios and acceptance criteria; guide data mining.
• Serve as contact for defects during implementation and provide rapid resolution.
• Collaborate with other workstreams on interdependencies, handoffs, issues and path to remediation.
• Cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and JJT on E2E solutions landscape and integrations.

• Collaborate with vendor to create new LEs in existing system and support all associated activities to enable separate E2E payroll runs for JJ and DPS in the legacy system
• Gather country business requirements and translate them into functional requirement to Payroll vendor
• Collaborate with Service Delivery and Vendor to ensure country pay practices policies regulatory and compliance requirements are accounted for in Blueprint document
• Provide subject matter expertise in system solutions present options and alternatives to meet the business requirements
• Apply global standards in WD GL Bank integrations mass uploads user experience roles and user provisioning compliance and audit
• Oversight of Product build by payroll vendor and conformance to documented requirements
• Develop test scenarios expected results acceptance criteria guidance on data mining
• Serve as point of contact for product defectsdeficienciesissues during implementation providing rapid resolution
• Collaborate with other workstreams on interdependencies handoffs issues resolutions mitigation and path to green remediations
• Crossfunctional collaboration with HR Finance and JJT on E2E solutions landscape diagrams integrations and infrastructure

Skills

Scope Responsibilities

• Support Japan and India payrolls from a single offshore location
• Clone existing payroll systems and support new payroll implementations
• Represent payroll from a product and system perspective SAP Payroll Knowledge
• Author detailed test scenarios and test scripts based on blueprint inputs and expected outputs
• Participate in payroll testing cycles and validation activities Cutover Go live Hypercare

Skill Expectations

• Strong SAP Payroll fundamentals and hands on payroll experience
• Prior experience supporting multiple country payrolls preferably Japan and India
• Sound understanding of payroll configuration testing methodology and system behaviour
• Experience in test scenario creation test scripting and execution
• 7-9 Years or relevant experience
