Job summary

Purpos Planet (A part of Mcnroe) is seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce Billing Executive to manage invoices, reconciliation, and settlements across major marketplaces. The role requires GST knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of transactional data.

You will coordinate with Accounts, E-commerce Operations, Warehouse, and Customer Service to ensure accurate billing and timely closures. Prior marketplace experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 13 years of relevant experience in e-commerce billing, invoicing, reconciliation, or accounts.
• Hands-on experience with marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra.
• Strong knowledge of billing, invoicing, and basic accounting principles.
• Good understanding of GST and e-commerce taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filters and basic formulas.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, BUSY, SAP or similar.

Responsibilities

• Generate, verify, and manage invoices for e-commerce orders.
• Reconcile orders, sales, payments, returns, cancellations, refunds, and deductions across marketplaces.
• Review marketplace transactions and identify billing or settlement discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and billing entries.
• Monitor marketplace settlements and coordinate for timely payment processing.
• Maintain accurate billing records, supporting documents, and transaction data.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly billing and reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with Accounts, E-commerce Operations, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to resolve billing-related issues.
• Handle GST and other tax-related billing entries as applicable.
• Track and verify marketplace deductions, commissions, shipping charges, TCS/TDS, returns, and other applicable adjustments.
• Support month-end closing activities and provide necessary billing and reconciliation data to the Accounts team.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices and other billing-related records.
• Perform other billing and reconciliation activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

About the Role

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet billing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in marketplace reconciliation and settlement processing.
• Experience handling Amazon/Flipkart/Myntra seller reports and settlement statements.
• Knowledge of marketplace commissions, deductions, returns, refunds, TCS/TDS, and other adjustments.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, D2C, or e-commerce businesses will be an added advantage.
