The MIS Executive – E-commerce (Skincare) will manage and analyze data related to online sales, inventory, and operations for skincare products across marketplaces and D2C platforms. The role focuses on accurate reporting, SKU-level tracking, batch/expiry monitoring, and providing insights to support business growth in the beauty & personal care category.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for skincare sales, revenue, returns, and cancellations
- Monitor performance by SKU, category (cleansers, serums, moisturizers, sunscreens), and channel
- Track performance across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and Shopify
- Monitor order flow, fulfillment status, RTO, refunds, and delivery TAT
- Reconcile sales data with marketplace and payment reports
- Maintain SKU-wise inventory reports including batch numbers and expiry dates
- Track near‑expiry stock and support liquidation / discount planning
- Monitor stock ageing, replenishment needs, and out‑of‑stock risks
- Track discounts, offers, and campaign performance (sale days, influencer campaigns, launches)
- Analyze price changes, margin impact, and contribution by SKU
- Analyze return reasons (damaged, leakage, allergic reaction, incorrect item)
- Track customer complaints and feedback trends
- Share insights with QA and product teams to reduce return rates
- Automate reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools
- Maintain documentation and SOPs for reporting processes
Good to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, IT, or related field
- 1–3 years of MIS / data reporting experience (beauty, skincare, FMCG preferred)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards)
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and inventory management
- High attention to detail due to batch & expiry-sensitive products
