Job summary

Cosmos Sports is building its Shopify-based e-commerce business and seeks an entrepreneurial E-Commerce & Digital Commerce Manager to own the end-to-end online operation, from launch to growth and profitability.

The role requires 8+ years in e-commerce, hands-on Shopify expertise, and a track record of scaling digital businesses. You will lead ops, marketplaces, marketing alignment, and a scalable team from India.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital commerce.
• Proven experience launching and scaling an e-commerce business from scratch.
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify.
• Experience managing online marketplaces.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership capability.
• Experience in sports, retail, fashion, footwear, or consumer goods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy and own the online P&L.
• Lead the successful launch and ongoing optimization of the Shopify website.
• Build the complete e-commerce operating model, including systems, SOPs, and workflows.
• Establish scalable backend operations covering product catalogue, inventory, order management, fulfilment, logistics, returns, customer support, and payment reconciliation.
• Identify and implement the right technology stack (inventory, shipping, CRM, analytics, automation, etc.).
• Launch and grow marketplace sales (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, etc.).
• Work closely with Marketing to drive traffic, conversions, customer acquisition, and repeat purchases.
• Recruit, lead, and develop the e-commerce team.
• Monitor business performance through MIS, dashboards, and key commercial metrics.

Role Summary:

Cosmos Sports is launching its Shopify-based e-commerce business and is looking for an entrepreneurial f E-Commerce & Digital Commerce Manager to build and scale the business from the ground up. This role will own the complete online business - from launch and backend operations to growth, profitability, and customer experience.

Objective: Launch within 2-3 months and scale to ₹50 lakh monthly revenue within six months.
