Job summary

Geeta Khagendra Guin is seeking a hands-on marketplace operations professional to manage product catalogues across platforms. You will own listings, descriptions and SKUs, coordinate photography, and ensure timely order processing to meet marketplace SLAs.

Responsibilities include tracking stock, optimizing sales across geographies, analysing returns, and preparing regular MIS reports to forecast demand. Strong Excel skills and a detail-oriented approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Catalogue & listings: Create, upload and maintain product listings, titles, attributes, keywords, categories, pricing and stock status.
• Content: Write accurate, search-friendly descriptions and specifications; manage SKU master file.
• Photography coordination: Coordinate or edit images per marketplace requirements.
• Order operations: Monitor orders, print invoices and shipping labels, prepare manifests, coordinate dispatch within SLAs.
• Inventory & consignments: Track stock, plan replenishment, schedule consignments, reduce stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Sales & growth: Track sales by SKU/platform/geography; identify trends and promotional opportunities.
• Returns & reviews: Analyse returns, cancellations, ratings and reviews; coordinate corrective actions.
• MIS & forecasting: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, inventory, returns, fulfilment and forecast needs.
• Marketplace coordination: Act as contact for Amazon, Flipkart; manage escalations and reviews.
• New platform onboarding: Set up seller accounts, upload catalogues, configure settings; support go-live readiness.

• 1. Catalogue & listings Create, upload and maintain product listings, titles, attributes, keywords, categories, pricing and stock status. Resolve suppressed or inactive listings.
• 2. Product content Write accurate, search-friendly descriptions and specifications. Maintain the SKU master file and ensure consistency across platforms.
• 3. Photography coordination Coordinate or execute basic product photography and image editing in line with marketplace requirements.
• 4. Order operations Monitor orders, print invoices and shipping labels, prepare manifests, and coordinate dispatch within marketplace SLAs.
• 5. Inventory & consignments Track stock, plan replenishment, schedule fulfilment-centre consignments, and reduce stock-outs and excess inventory.
• 6. Sales & growth Track sales by SKU, platform and geography. Identify trends, promotional opportunities and actions to improve revenue.
• 7. Returns & reviews Analyse returns, cancellations, ratings and reviews; identify root causes and coordinate corrective actions.
• 8. MIS & forecasting Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports covering sales, inventory, returns, fulfilment and forecast requirements.
