Job summary

The Indus Valley is seeking an E-commerce Associate to manage day-to-day operations across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and other platforms, including listing creation, order coordination and inventory monitoring.

You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment, track performance metrics, support promotions and maintain accurate product information. This role suits a detail-oriented professional with 1–2 years of e-commerce experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, or online retail.
• Hands-on experience with marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and others).
• Create, update and maintain product listings including titles, descriptions, images, pricing and inventory.
• Monitor orders, cancellations, returns and customer issues to ensure smooth processing.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, sales, marketing and customer support for order fulfillment.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Monitor marketplace performance, sales, traffic, conversions and product metrics.
• Support promotions, campaigns, offers and pricing updates.
• Identify listing errors and resolve visibility and pricing issues.
• Prepare regular sales, inventory and performance reports.

We are looking for an E-commerce Associate to support and manage our online marketplace operations and contribute to the growth of our e-commerce business.

Job Summary

The E-commerce Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across e-commerce marketplaces and the brands online channels. The role involves product listing management, order coordination, inventory monitoring, marketplace performance tracking, and supporting promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and other e-commerce platforms.
• Create, update, and maintain product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, and inventory.
• Monitor orders, cancellations, returns, replacements, and customer-related issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as warehouse, logistics, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Track product availability and inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as required.
• Monitor marketplace performance, sales, traffic, conversions, and product-level metrics.
• Support marketplace promotions, campaigns, offers, and pricing updates.
• Identify listing errors and resolve issues related to product visibility, pricing, cataloguing, and inventory.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, orders, returns, and marketplace performance.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions, and marketplace presence.
• Ensure product information and marketplace content are accurate and up to date.
• Support the team in improving product visibility, sales, and overall marketplace performance.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, online retail, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, or similar platforms.
• Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce metrics such as sales, conversion rate, returns, inventory, and product performance.
• Candidates who have worked with consumer products, home & kitchen, D2C, or FMCG brands will be preferred.
