Job summary

Talent21 is seeking a Dynatrace Engineer in Chennai with 9.1-12 years of IT experience. You will implement, configure, and optimize Dynatrace monitoring across environments, develop dashboards and alerts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain high availability and performance.

The role requires strong APM background, Linux/Windows administration, and hands-on Dynatrace expertise. You will stay current with Dynatrace features and best practices while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dynatrace Expert or in a similar role.
• Strong background in application performance management (APM) and infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix/Windows Administration.
• Dynatrace Certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Dynatrace monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the system.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve system performance and user experience
• Configure Dynatrace to meet the specific needs of our applications and infrastructure.
• Develop custom dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Integrate Dynatrace with other tools and systems for a holistic monitoring approach.
• Provide training and support to team members on using Dynatrace effectively.

• Detect, diagnose, and resolve performance issues using Dynatrace tools.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid future issues

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Proven experience as a Dynatrace Expert or in a similar role.
• Strong background in application performance management (APM) and infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix/Windows Administration.
• Proficiency in Dynatrace tools and solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g. Ansible).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Specific Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 5+ years of experience in IT landscape.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Dynatrace.
