Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. seeks an experienced quality professional for transmission assembly in Rajkot, India. 7–15 years in manufacturing quality, with exposure to SAP and auditing, will be essential.

The role involves driving process improvements, audits, and the smooth launch of new variants. The ideal candidate has BE/ Diploma in Production/Mechanical/Automobile engineering and hands-on knowledge of quality tools, problem solving, and supplier part analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ Diploma level engineers with 7–15 years in manufacturing quality.
• Experience in transmission assembly quality, audits and process control.
• Knowledge of SPC, MSA, KAIZEN and quality tools beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer complaints and assembly line rejections; drive corrective actions.
• Lead process audits and SOP/SOS adherence on the transmission assembly line.
• Support Engineering Change Management and new model launches.
• Implement KAIZEN and POKA-YOKES to eliminate defects and errors.
• Monitor quality through product and process audits and supplier parts analysis.

Job description

• Transmission Aggregate assembly / Testing of tractor
• Transmission assembly process and functional testing knowledge is essential.
• Transmissiontypes and field application gear /speed knowledge is essential.
• Hands on experience assembly practices of transmission manufacturing and quality setting parameters.
• Ensure quality of aggregates through Product & Process audits.
• Experience in Quality assurance function in assembly plant transmission assembly.
• Handling overall Product audit and Process audit on assembly line.
• Knowledge of quality tools like 7 QC, Why Why analysis.
• Analysing customer complaints,Assembly line rejection, Supplier parts analysis and taking corrective actions, Standardizing all the Quality Procedure.
• Continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.
• Implementation of POKA-YOKES to eliminate human error.
• Monitoring and ensuring adherence to processes with SOP/SOS by periodic process audit, SPC and MSA studies.
• Responsible for Engineering Change Management Process,
• Smooth launch of new model / new variants.
