Role & Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and record clinical history, symptoms, vitals, diagnosis notes, and treatment updates accurately.
• Provide first-level medical care to OPD, IPD, and emergency patients as per hospital protocols.
• Assist senior consultants during patient rounds, case discussions, procedures, and treatment planning.
• Monitor admitted patients regularly and identify changes in clinical condition promptly.
• Prescribe medicines, investigations, and supportive treatment under applicable medical guidelines.
• Coordinate with nursing staff for medication administration, patient monitoring, and care instructions.
• Handle emergency situations with quick assessment, stabilization, and timely escalation to consultants.
• Maintain proper documentation of prescriptions, progress notes, discharge summaries, and clinical reports.
• Explain treatment plans, investigations, and basic medical instructions to patients and attendants clearly.
• Ensure infection control, patient safety, and biomedical waste management practices are followed.
• Review laboratory reports, imaging results, and patient progress to support clinical decisions.
• Support admission, transfer, referral, and discharge processes with complete medical documentation.
• Participate in hospital audits, quality improvement activities, and clinical protocol compliance.
• Maintain professional communication with consultants, nurses, technicians, and administrative teams.
