Job summary

Veedee Solutions LLP is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at our hospitality facility in India. You will supervise staff across departments, ensure exceptional guest service, and maintain smooth operations during assigned shifts.

The role requires 3–6 years in hospitality operations, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to handle guest issues with a proactive and service-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in hospitality operations.
• Experience as Duty Manager or similar role preferred.
• Strong team management and communication skills.
• Good guest-handling and complaint-resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of SOPs, hygiene standards and service quality.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and ensure smooth functioning during the assigned shift.
• Coordinate teams across food & beverage, housekeeping, front office and other departments.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor attendance, allocate duties and supervise team performance.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, hygiene and safety standards.
• Coordinate with kitchens, maintenance and security to resolve issues.
• Monitor service quality and guest experience.
• Maintain shift reports and operational documentation.
• Handle emergencies and escalate to senior management as needed.
• Conduct proper shift handovers and communicate pending tasks.

• Manage and coordinate teams across food and beverage, housekeeping, front office, and other operational departments as applicable.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve service issues, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor staff attendance, allocate duties, and supervise team performance.
• Ensure compliance with company standard operating procedures, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen, maintenance, security, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor service quality and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Maintain shift reports, incident records, and operational documentation.
• Handle emergencies and elevate critical issues to senior management.
• Conduct proper shift handovers and communicate pending tasks to the incoming team.

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Duty Manager, or Operations Supervisor preferred.
