Job summary

Qualifications

Job Title: Civil/Structural Draftsman
Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Project Type: US-based Civil & Structural Engineering Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Draftsman to prepare accurate and detailed construction drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in accordance with applicable U.S. building codes, project specifications, and engineering requirements. The candidate will work closely with Structural/Civil Engineers, Architects, project managers, and other disciplines to develop construction documents, details, sections, schedules, and revisions using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings based on engineering designs and specifications.


• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings.


• Prepare structural steel, concrete, foundation, framing, and reinforcement drawings.


• Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.


• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, and consistency with design requirements.


• Coordinate drawings with engineers, architects, and other disciplines.


• Incorporate engineer/client comments and revise drawings accordingly.


• Follow applicable US drafting standards, codes, and project specifications.


• Maintain drawing templates, title blocks, revisions, and document-control requirements.


• Support engineers in preparing drawings, details, schedules, and other technical documentation.


• Participate in drawing coordination and resolve drafting/design discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Drafting.


• 1–6 years of relevant experience in civil/structural drafting.


• Good understanding of structural and civil construction drawings.


• Experience working on US projects is preferred.


• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, dimensions, annotations, and detailing.


• Ability to understand architectural, structural, and civil design drawings.
