Job summary

Stellaredge is a Surat-first firm seeking high-potential candidates to own the end-to-end DP operations within a regional broker setup. You will manage pledge and settlement, handle corporate actions, and drive automation ideas to improve throughput and accuracy.

Ideal candidates are from Surat, with NISM Series VIII or NSDL/CDSL certifications, B.Com/finance backgrounds, and hands-on DP experience. You will grow rapidly as you take ownership of critical processes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on DP operations experience at a SEBI-registered broker.
• Working knowledge of CDSL/NSDL workflows, pledge/unpledge, and T+1 settlement.
• Experience resolving settlement mismatches and exception cases — not just escalating them.
• Operational accuracy and documentation discipline.
• Willingness to think beyond processing — towards improvement, automation, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily CDSL/NSDL operations: account management, DIS processing, statement generation.
• Handle pledge, unpledge, and margin pledge workflows accurately and within regulatory timelines.
• Process corporate actions - bonus, splits, rights, dividends - with full accuracy.
• Monitor and resolve settlement mismatches and exception cases independently.
• Maintain operational checklists, audit trails, and exception logs for all DP transactions.
• Identify manual workflows that should be automated and contribute to improvement specifications.
• Coordinate with exchanges, CDSL/NSDL helpdesks, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.

About The Role

DP operations at most regional brokers is a high-volume, repetitive processing function. At Stellaredge, it is a systems role. You will own the entire DP function - pledge management, settlement, corporate actions, exception resolution - and you will also be part of the team that decides how to automate and improve it. This is not a lateral move. It is a move into ownership.
