Job summary

Magneto Brokers Llp in Surat seeks an experienced equity advisor to own a growing client book and drive desk performance. You will acquire new clients, advise on equity and derivatives, and execute trades during market hours while building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to grow revenue, a track record of client acquisition, and fluency in Gujarati and Hindi with working English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equity advisory, dealing, or wealth management.
• NISM Series VIII Equity Derivatives certification is mandatory.
• Demonstrable track record of acquiring clients and generating brokerage revenue.

You will advise clients on equity and derivatives, grow your own book, and take charge of the desk's performance at your branch.

What you will do

Client acquisition & book building

• Acquire new clients across retail and HNI segments through referrals, local networking, and your existing market relationships
• Convert leads into active, trading clients and grow their engagement over time
• Build and own a personal client book with clear, measurable revenue targets

Advisory & dealing

• Advise clients on equity and equity-derivatives opportunities aligned to their risk profile and objectives
• Execute trades accurately and promptly on behalf of clients; manage the dealing terminal during market hours
• Track markets, sectors, and corporate developments, and communicate what matters to clients

Relationship management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term trust
• Increase client retention, activation rates, and wallet share
• Introduce clients to the wider product suite as relevant

What you must have

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a broking house, wealth management firm, or financial services company in an equity advisory, dealing, or relationship-management role
• NISM Series VIII Equity Derivatives certification (mandatory, valid)
• A demonstrable track record of acquiring clients and generating brokerage revenue
• Strong working knowledge of equity markets, derivatives, and trading platforms
• Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi; working English
• Based in or willing to work from Surat (Adajan or Sachin)

Good to have

• Additional NISM certifications (Series VII, Series X-A/X-B, Series XV)
• An existing client base you can bring with you
• Experience handling HNI clients
• Familiarity with mutual funds, commodities, or currency segments
